周质平，1947年生于上海，1970年毕业于东吴大学中文系，1974年获东海大学中文所硕士学位，1982年获美国印第安纳大学中国文学博士学位，现任普林斯顿大学东亚系教授。主要从事晚明文学与思想、中国近现代思想史研究。著有Yuan Hung-tao and the Kung-anSchool《公安派的文学批评及其发展》《胡适的情缘与晚境》《胡适丛论》《现代人物与思潮》《儒林新志》等；主编《胡适早年文存》《胡适未刊英文遗稿》《胡适英文文存》等。 康凌，圣路易斯华盛顿大学中国文学与比较文学专业博士，现任教于复旦大学中文系。
